Angel Wings Cat Portrait Suncatcher

This custom cat portrait suncatcher shows your cat with soft angel wings and a small halo, set against a sky that glows when the sun comes through the window. It is a quiet, light-filled way to keep them near, in the place where the day begins.

Wings, a halo and a sky full of light

Feathered angel wings in translucent pearl white and pale gold spread wide behind your cat, reaching across most of the circle. Your cat’s portrait, made from your photo with the background removed, sits in the center showing the head and chest, and a delicate ring of tiny gold dots floats just above the ears.

The background is a clear gradient from blush at the top to pale sky blue at the bottom, printed so sunlight passes through it and the whole piece seems to glow. Your cat’s name sits under the portrait in a graceful warm-gray script. Along the lower edge, “Forever My Angel” and the years curve in small spaced capitals in pale gold, outlined in gray so they stay easy to read against the light. Our example reads Smokey, 2011 – 2026 for a gray Russian Blue mix; you add your own cat’s name and years.

Photo tips for the portrait

The design shows your cat’s head and chest with the halo floating above, so choose a photo where both ears are fully in the frame and the face is in focus. A slight head tilt looks lovely here. Daylight from a window helps gray, black and other dark coats show their texture instead of turning flat, and a photo without flash keeps the eyes natural. For a sunny window, or for a friend

A cat angel wings memorial is a gentle choice for a bedroom or kitchen window, or for the spot where your cat liked to sit in the sun. As a cat memorial window decoration, it keeps their face in the light without taking up shelf space, and it pairs softly with our window memorial canvas on a nearby wall. It is also a kind sympathy gift for someone who has just said goodbye to their cat.
