Gingerbread House Cat Christmas Keychain

This Christmas cat keychain is a tiny gingerbread house with a very important resident. Your cat leans out of the round front window, paws on the sill, as if checking whether the cookies have arrived, while white icing trim, gumdrop dots and a snowy roof make the whole thing look good enough to eat (please don’t).

The design: a gingerbread cottage with a cat in the window

The keychain is cut to the outline of a warm-brown illustrated gingerbread cottage. Piped white icing traces the roof and walls, colorful gumdrop-style dots decorate the front, and soft snow rests on the roof. Your cat (from your photo, background removed) shows its head and front paws in the round window in the middle of the house.

Your cat’s name is written in white icing-style lettering just under the roof peak, and a tiny year sits on the front door. Our sample reads “Pepper / 2026” for a gray tabby kitten with green eyes; you choose the name and the year. Kittens look adorable in the window, but adult cats fit just as well. It’s a small thing, about the size of a cookie cutter, and it makes a personalized Christmas cat keychain that gets looked at every time someone reaches for the house keys.

Our designers then prepare the final artwork from your original photo, set your cat in the window, letter the name in icing style and check every detail by hand before printing.

Each keychain is made to order. Production takes 3–5 business days, and most orders arrive in about 8–12 business days. Free standard shipping on every US order. For Christmas, order at least three weeks before you need it, and earlier in December. If your keychain arrives damaged or misprinted, we remake it or refund you; see our returns and refunds policy.

Photo tips for a tiny window

Only your cat’s head and front paws show, and the whole keychain is about 2.5 inches, so the face has to be sharp and close. Choose a front-facing photo at cat eye level, in good daylight, with both eyes clearly visible. A photo with the paws resting on something, like a windowsill or the edge of a box, is ideal.
