Aurora Cabin Christmas Cat Tapestry

This Christmas cat tapestry brings the northern lights indoors, with your cat in the best seat in the house. Ribbons of teal, green and violet aurora sweep across a deep blue starry sky, a tiny log cabin glows in the snowy pines, and your cat sits on a snowy rise in the foreground, head lifted toward the lights in quiet wonder.

The design: a cat under the northern lights

The aurora fills the upper half of the wide, landscape scene, flowing from one side of the sky to the other. A line of snow-laden pines runs across the middle, and the little cabin, with warm golden light in its windows, nests among the trees at the lower left. Soft snow falls over everything.

Your cat (from your photo, painted in to match the light) sits large at the lower right, seen in a three-quarter view from behind with its head turned up and to the left, as if it has just noticed the sky. The greeting sits small in an elegant, widely spaced white serif at the bottom center, over a soft dark gradient. Our sample reads “Merry Christmas from Juniper” for a brown tabby-and-white Norwegian Forest Cat; you add your own cat’s name. At either size, it works as a cat wall tapestry that stays calm enough to leave up through the whole winter.

How your tapestry is made

Upload your cat’s photo and you will see a free AI preview right in the designer. The preview is an illustration only, there to show the layout. Our designers then prepare the final artwork from your original photo, paint your cat into the aurora light so it belongs in the scene, and check every detail by hand before printing.

Each tapestry is made to order in the size you choose. Production takes 3–5 business days, and most orders arrive in about 8–12 business days. Free standard shipping on every US order. For Christmas, order at least three weeks before you need it, and earlier in December. If it arrives damaged or misprinted, we remake it or refund you; see our returns and refunds policy.

Photo tips for a sky-gazing cat

The design shows your cat from behind at a three-quarter angle, looking up, so the ideal photo is a side or three-quarter view of your cat gazing at something above it: a bird at the window, a toy on a shelf. Make sure the ears, the outline of the face and the coat pattern on the back are clear. Because the tapestry is large, use the sharpest original photo you have. Our photo guidelines show good examples.

Where it shines

It suits a living-room wall above the sofa, a bedroom that needs a winter mood, or a cabin rental with a cat-loving owner. As a Christmas wall hanging with your cat and its name, it also makes a striking gift for anyone who dreams of seeing the aurora in person. A Christmas cat tapestry this size can transform a whole wall in a minute.
