This cat valentine keychain is shaped like an antique heart locket that has just been opened to show who lives inside: your cat. It is a flat acrylic keychain printed with the locket look, so it rides along on your keys every day instead of waiting in a jewelry box for special occasions.

The design: an open locket, printed

The acrylic is cut to two hearts side by side, joined where they touch, with the key ring at the top where they meet. The left heart shows a gold filigree locket cover with engraved-style scrollwork, and “My Furry Valentine” sits in its center in tiny warm-brown script, like an inscription.

The right heart has a thin gold rim and a blush-pink fill. Your cat, cut out from your photo, fills most of it, and your cat’s name runs along the bottom in a small, elegant rose script. Antique gold, blush, rose and ivory keep it soft and romantic rather than shiny. Our example shows a Sphynx named Lulu – you add your own cat and name. Everything is printed flat, so the locket does not open, but it never snags in a pocket either.
