This personalized cat night light hangs out the sign every cat already lives by: do not disturb. It is shaped like an old motel doorknob hanger, and your cat takes the starring role in a perfect loaf, sleep mask pushed up, looking mildly offended that anyone is still awake.

The clear acrylic is laser-cut as a tall, rounded hanger with a round hole near the top, and a thin coral outline follows the cut edge around a cream fill. Just below the hole, DO NOT DISTURB sits in two stacked lines of chunky retro coral letters with soft rounded corners, straight out of a 1960s roadside motel.

In the lower half, your cat lies in a tidy loaf on a thin mint stripe, paws tucked, wearing an illustrated pink satin sleep mask pushed up onto its forehead. Three navy “Zzz” letters float diagonally up toward the hole, each a little bigger than the last. “Nap in Progress” runs in small italic script at the bottom, with your cat’s name below it in bold rounded capitals. Our example says “Winston” – you add your own cat’s name. When the base is switched on, the whole print glows warm, so this custom cat night light gives a bedside table, a reading nook or a hallway shelf a soft, sleepy light.

Photo tips for a loaf pose

The design shows your cat in a loaf with the paws tucked, so a front-facing photo of your cat lying in that pose is ideal. Sleepy, half-closed eyes make it even better, and both ears should be in the frame, since the mask sits just above the eyes. Please don’t put a real mask on your cat; ours is illustrated.
