The design: a roadside motel sign

The mat has a cream background with a thin teal border. A wide, angled motel sign in retro teal fills the left and center, the kind that once lit up the edge of a two-lane highway. “The Cat Motel” glows across the sign face in coral neon-tube script with a soft cream outline.
