The three books are drawn in deep forest green, burgundy and mustard cloth with gold tooling on the spines, the way old library editions looked before paperbacks took over. Photo tips for a sitting pose

Your cat appears sitting upright on the books, head to paws, so a full-body photo of your cat sitting and facing the camera works best. Shoot at eye level so the legs look natural, and keep the tail in the frame if you can. Daylight shows a smooth coat, like our Russian Blue example, without harsh shine.
