The design: a masterpiece with a wall label

The oxblood wall runs edge to edge across the plaque. An illustrated gilded baroque frame, all carved scrolls and old-gold shadows, sits slightly left of center and holds your cat’s head-and-chest portrait. A soft cone of painted spotlight falls on it from the top edge, just like in a quiet gallery after hours.

To the lower right, a small white museum label lines up with the bottom of the frame. It lists four left-aligned lines in charcoal: the title “Love of My Life” in a bold serif, your cat’s name and a year, the medium in italics and the collection in tiny capitals.
